Hotel Brand Reward Points” Hotel chains independently manage the distribution of their own reward points and programs. Most do not offer reward points (initially) when reservations are made through third-party websites like this one, Booking.com, Expedia, Priceline, and travel agents. You should verify the specific policies directly with the local hotel management. You may want to inform the local hotel management that you typically have many hotels and brands to choose from in most locations and your buying decision (all things being reasonably equal) may come down to which local hotel management will issue reward points.
